Karachi Kings (KK) take on the Multan Sultans (MS) in match 3 of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2025) on Saturday, April 12. The match starts at 8.30 PM IST with both teams kicking off a new season.
David Warner, after going unsold in the IPL 2025 auction, was picked up by the Karachi Kings. They also named him as the skipper of the side for the season. Having retired from international cricket, Warner will be available throughout the season for the Kings.
Multan Sultans, on the other hand, is led by Mohammad Rizwan. He has had a tough time leading the Pakistan ODI side recently against New Zealand. However, the focus shifts to the PSL 2025 season as of now. In the first game, defending champions Islamabad United beat Lahore Qalandars by 8 wickets.

Karachi Kings vs Multan Sultans Match Preview
Karachi Kings have a new skipper in David Warner. He was picked up by the franchise in the PSL 2025 draft. He will be alongside his former SRH teammate Kane Williamson playing for the same side. With James Vince and Shan Masood, the team has enough firepower with the bat. Tim Seifert and Litton Das provide depth to the batting lineup. Recently, Seifert was in terrific form in the white-ball series against Pakistan. He would like to continue with that same form in the PSL as well. Meanwhile, there are reports of Williamson missing the first few games of the season for the Kings.

Talking about their bowling attack, Hasan Ali will lead the attack with Adam Milne, Abbas Afridi and Mir Hamza for company. Mohammad Nabi, the all-rounder, gives them another option with the ball.
Multan Sultans, winners of PSL 2021, will be led by Mohammad Rizwan, one of the best cricketers in Pakistan at the moment. He is now the captain of the Pakistan ODI side as well. Thus, the PSL is an opportunity for him to showcase his captaincy skills. He has a good team at his disposal with plenty of quality in both the batting and bowling departments. Alongside Rizwan, Usman Khan, Johnson Charles and Shai Hope are the keeper-batters in the side. With Rizwan likely to keep wickets, the rest can play as proper batters as well.
With the ball, Chris Jordan, the death-overs specialist, is likely to lead the attack. Mohammad Hasnain and Usama Mir are the two bowlers who have recently played for Pakistan. Josh Little and David Willey are the other options.
