Travishek (Travis Head & Abhishek Sharma) finally lived up to their destructive best as they thrashed Punjab Kings (PBKS) bowlers in match 27 of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2025) season. Before the game against PBKS, there were questions asked about SRH batters' approach on being ultra-positive. However, today SRH openers proved why their batting lineup is rated the best. Chasing a mammoth target of 246, SRH openers Head and Abhishek put on 171 runs in just 74 balls and enabled the side to win the game by eight wickets, with nine balls to spare.
SRH's run chase was the second highest ever total chased in IPL history. The icing on the cake was it came at their home, in front of their passionate fans. Abhishek's (141) off just 55 balls was the highest ever score recorded by an Indian player in the IPL. The southpaw's knock contained 10 sixes and 14 fours. Along the way there was slice of luck going his way, but fortune always favors the brave, and Abhishek was extremely brave in the way he played.

Abhishek Sharma brought up his hundred off just 4o balls and showed a gesture that read, "This one's for the orange army." Right through the innings, the Southpaw toyed with PBKS bowling attack and played some breathtaking shots. All of Abhishek's sixes were monstrous ones. His knock was full of intent, which caught the PBKS off-guard and stunned them at the Uppal Stadium. The southpaw completely overshadowed Head, who also contributed with 37-ball 66 runs.
Each of the PBKS bowlers went above 10 runs per over, and that tells you how destructive were the duo of Abhishek and Travis Head were.

SRH finally snap losing streak on account of a dominating display against PBKS
SRH finally snapped four-match losing streak with some style and swag against PBKS. It was a statement making victory by the Orange army. They answered all those critics who questioned their ultra-positive brand of cricket. Abhishek played one of the best innings of IPL ever. There was hardly nay false shot by the opener. Coming into this match, he did not even register a fifty in five games.
However, the southpaw emphatically turned the tide by smashing a blistering hundred and reminded everyone of his attacking prowess.
