Rajasthan Royals (RR) speedster Jofra Archer was spotted having some fun ahead of his side's upcoming game against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Tuesday, May 20 in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2025) season. During a training session at the Arun Jaitely Stadium in Delhi, the RR pacer mimicked CSK all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja's bowling action.
To be fair, Archer did a fabulous job as he pulled out CSK star's bowling action to perfection. Not only bowling, but the England pacer also mimicked Jadeja's quick movements between deliveries, which does not give batters any breathing space between balls.
A video of Jofra Archer having fun was shared on the official social media of RR. The franchise captioned the post funnily saying, “Jofra Archer. R̶i̶g̶h̶t̶ a̶r̶m̶ f̶a̶s̶t̶. Left-arm orthodox. 😂🔥” - joking about Archer switching from fast bowling to spin like Jadeja.
Jofra Archer has mixed IPL 2025 season for Rajasthan Royals
Speaking about Archer, the speedster has had mixed results in IPL 2025 season for RR. After being bought by the franchise for INR 12.5 Crores, the 31-year-old has picked just 11 wickets in 12 games that he has played at an economy rate of 9.47. Worst, his form has coincided with RR not making the playoffs as they have won just three games from the 13 games played, placing them in the ninth position in the IPL 2025 Points Table.
With only one game left against CSK, RR would be hoping to end the tournament on a winning note. Meanwhile, CSK are also out of the IPL 2025 Playoffs Race.
