James Anderson vs Virat Kohli In Tests

Overall, James Anderson took 704 Test wickets out of which 149 came against India. He also picked over 100 wickets against Australia (117) and South Africa (103) in his esteemed career.

Speaking at the Talksport podcast, James Anderson once again looked back to bowling at the likes of Tendulkar and Kohli in his Test career. He admitted saying that Kohli was far more challenging to bowl to than Tendulkar.

"Against Sachin, for example, I didn't feel like there was that sort of shift in dominance. With Kohli, there was definitely a shift. Found him a very difficult player to bowl at because he had that steely mindset, wanted to get into a battle. He's very competitive, and after that initial success, it was very difficult to bowl against," James Anderson said during an appearance on the talkSport podcast.

Meanwhile, a new and young Indian team in the absence of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Ravichandran Ashwin is all set to take on England in their own backyard. England also have some new faces, especially in the bowling department in the absence of Anderson and Stuart Broad.
