Several members of the International Cricket Council (ICC) will be meeting in Harare over a four-day conclave. The members' meeting started on April 10, and it is aimed at developing cricket in the country.
The meeting is said to be the first of its kind that is aimed at changing the cricketing landscape of the country. Among several esteemed members will also be Jay Shah, the ICC Chairman.

The first two days of the meeting will be held in Harare (April 10 and 11). For the next two days (April 12 and 13), the meeting will be shifted to iconic Victoria Falls, where the members will gather to take the meeting forward.
"ZC will this week host the ICC Board and Committee Meetings, marking a major milestone for the country's standing in the global game," the national board said in a statement.Â
The main agenda for the meeting has not yet been laid out. However, the meeting is being held a day after the International Olympic Committee confirmed the inclusion of cricket in LA 2028 Olympics. It is expected that a large part of the meeting will be dedicated to these lines. The qualification process for the six teams allowed to participate in the Olympics will be one of the major topics of discussion.
ICC Chairman Jay Shah has Landed In Harare For The Meeting
As of now, it is expected that the USA, being the host, will get a direct qualification. However, nothing can be confirmed about the development. The board's statement hinted that the focus of discussion in the meeting will be on critical governance, strategic and operational matters.
"Among the high-level delegates expected are ICC Chairman Jay Shah and members of the ICC Board, as well as other key figures in international cricket leadership. The meetings will focus on critical governance, strategic and operational matters shaping the future of the sport worldwide," the ZC statement said.

ZC Chairman Tavengwa Mukuhlani Welcomes ICC Delegates
ZC chairman Tavengwa Mukuhlani further described this meeting as a proud moment for the board and the country. He further termed it a historic moment and hoped that the ICC members would love their hospitality.

We are fully prepared to host the esteemed cricket leaders and to showcase the beauty, warmth and hospitality of our nation.
